It is loud. But, it is powerful. it has a three-tier helical set-up, that’s why it can hold up. The vessel design is very solid and rugged. The “dummy-proof” aspect of locking it closed is very nice. The locking lid is also very nice and intuitive.
This blender works great. The only complaint in Ninja BL770 review, it is very noisy, even to the point of insanity. All the other comparable, expensive blenders are quite loud as well. There is a problem with the blade base for the small, single-serving blender containers. Whatever you put in for blending, it ends up annihilated.
A really good test is blending dates. Most blenders leave you with chunks at the bottom, but not this one. This is Wonderful for smoothies and the food processor is a great attachment.
